The house is located  off Highway 1 just south of the city of Fort Bragg. From the Bay Area, there are two primary routes you can take: via Highway 128 (recommended) or Highway 20. From the Central Valley/Sacramento area, you’ll enter via Highway 20.

Directions via Highway 128:

• From Highway 101-N, exit in Cloverdale for Highway 128-W
• Continue on 128-W through the Anderson Valley and Navarro River Redwood Forest. Highway 128 will merge with Highway 1 near the mouth of the Navarro River. Stay straight to continue on Highway 1-N.
• Continue on 1-N. About 8 miles after you pass the town of Mendocino, you’ll reach a traffic circle at Simpson Lane. Take a left at the traffic circle (third “exit”) onto Old Highway 1. Then take a left on Cypress Rd (you’ll see a gas station on your right). 

Directions via Highway 20:

• From Highway 101-N, heads towards Willits. In Willits, take Highway 20-W. 
• Highway 20 will wind through the vast Jackson Demonstration Forest and eventually terminate at Highway 1 by the Boatyard Shopping Center. 
• Take a LEFT onto Highway 1 (aka Main St). 
• Cross over the Hare Creek Bridge and make an immediate RIGHT onto Old Highway 1, and then another RIGHT onto Cypress Rd.  If you miss that turn after the bridge, you can cut through the gas station, or get onto Old Highway 1 from the traffic circle at Simpson Lane.
